We manufacture our custom signs in-house in our production studio and warehouse in Decatur, Texas. We do most of our cutting on our CNC router and plasma cutter, but also have access to a laser cutter and water jet cutter when needed. We have an automotive sized paint booth in our shop, which allows us to paint and clear coat massive logo signs, which particularly comes in handy for outdoor building signage. We have a huge 8'x4' flatbed UV printer for printed graphics, with access to a 10'x10' printer in the rare instance that we need to exceed an 8'x4' single panel. We built our own custom grind room for adding our signature artistic metal grind patterns and textures, and we have large scale woodworking and metal fabrication equipment for the unique, unusual, and dimensional structures (like custom installations, outdoor monuments, etc.)

Our Most Common Commercial Signs

With all of this production equipment our capabilities are endless, but here are the most common custom made signs and commercial logo projects that brands and companies of all sizes come to us for:

  1. Negative Cut-Out Logo: this is when we have a blank panel that we cut to remove the outline of your logo from it, leaving a void in the shape of your logo. We can either leave the open to show your wall through the void, or put a back panel behind it (in metal, painted colors, or printed to perfectly match your logo) to give it a layered shadow.

  2. Positive Cut-Out Logo: this is the inverse of the negative cut-out. We cut your logo/lettering out of a panel, then take the loose pieces and either attach and raise them off of a back panel, or put mounting hardware on the back of each piece so you can hang them individually on your wall.

  3. Multi-Layer Business Signs: this can be a combination of several materials (metal, plexi, reclaimed wood, polymetal, etc) and/or multiple sign styles. Imagine a logo positive-cut from torched stainless steel and raised off of a reclaimed barn wood back panel with a byline negative-cut from it...

  4. HD Commercial Prints: this is typically done on metal, acrylic, or frosted acrylic, and can be a logo sign, wayfinding signage, mission statement, etc. We have a massive vacuum-table flatbed printer that sprays UV-cured acrylic inks, programmed to perfectly match your original logo colors. We can leave them with a matte finish or top them off with a glossy clear coat.

  5. Backlit LED Custom Signs: This works with both our negative and positive cut signs; the negative-cut LED lighting makes the actual logo glow (white, logo color-matching, or random color-changing) while the positive-cut with LED creates a halo lighting effect (glowing out around the edges of each letter.)

  6. Outdoor Building Signage: This can also work with any of our sign styles, however we use different materials, hardware, electrical components, and protective finishes for commercial signs on an outdoor storefront or building facade.

  7. Artistic Grind Patterns: this is what really sets our custom made signs apart from the rest, and can be done with any of our sign styles. We have two professional metal artists in-house who can grind a variety of intricate patterns into the surface of the metal. Some are bold, eye-catching and holographic while others add a softer, more subtle touch.

  8. Corporate Gifts & Achievement Awards: these are more straightforward, but clients come to us when they want a more sculptural metal award that the recipient will actually keep and display proudly as an art piece, rather than tucking away in storage or half-hiding on a shelf.
